This combination medicine (typically formulated as an oral suspension) contains two antacids (Dried Aluminium Hydroxide, Magnesium Hydroxide), an antifoaming agent (Activated Dimethicone), and a local anesthetic (Oxetacaine). It provides fast, soothing relief from acidity, heartburn, bloating, and stomach ulcers.
- Dried Aluminium Hydroxide & Magnesium Hydroxide:
- These act as antacids that neutralize excess stomach acid and provide a protective coating on the gastric lining.
- Activated Dimethicone:
- An antiflatulent that disintegrates gas bubbles in the stomach, helping to relieve bloating and discomfort.
- Oxetacaine:
- A local numbing agent that provides rapid relief from pain caused by stomach acid or ulcers.
Oxetacaine , Aluminium Hydroxide , Dimethicone and Magnesium. Oxetacaine is a local anesthetic which provides fast relief from pain due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach on account of its numbing effect. Aluminium Hydroxide and Magnesium are antacids which neutralize excess acid in stomach. Dimethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
