Levocetirizine Hydrochloride + Montelukast Sodium is a combination medication that provides dual-action relief for allergies. Levocetirizine+Montelukast is used for sneezing and runny nose due to allergies, hay fever and allergic skin conditions. Helps in controlling breathing issues in patients who suffer from both allergic rhinitis and mild, co-existing asthma. Sometimes used to manage chronic hives, itching, and raised red patches when prescribed by a doctor. Quickly soothes seasonal and perennial allergies (hay fever) caused by pollen, dust mites, mold, and pet dander.
Levocetirizine –
- Is an antiallergic which blocks a chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.
- Stops sneezing, itchy throat, red/watery eyes, and a runny nose.
Montelukast –
- Is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking another chemical messenger (leukotriene)
- This reduces inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose, and improves symptoms.
